Spectra PhotoVideo will convert original Photos & Transparencies to a digital master that can be used for many prepress projects. Each image will be custom scanned with the highest quality settings to match the image and extract the highest level of details and color. Our technicians will further color match each individual image to the true colors of the original. Minor scratches and deformity will also be removed. The results are very high quality, true to the original digital master that can be used with many desktop publishing software.

Our Process

Our digital artists review each image and correct for color range and over/underexposure. Color correction and matching to the original image under soft light is also applied creating a color balanced image.

The image is rotated and cropped for proper orientation and to remove black borders around the image.

We also perform manual spotting on the scanned images. This is a very time consuming process by which a digital artist looks at every image and skillfully removes the remaining dust and scratches.

Images are Press ready. The CDs can be sent to most print shops.
